Chapter 2:  Yesterdays Tomorrow

                                                                                               Sito:

     "Morning!" an unknown voice said. "Hey!" it said again. "Wake up!"

     I woke up to find a man standing in between Yumi's and my bed. He wore a blue top hat with a clock wrapped around it, a blue jacket with one of the sleeves rolled up, a yellow cape and brown pants. He had black short hair and a small goatee, the arm that had the rolled up sleeve was a normal arm but the other was black and claw like.

     "Who're you?"  I asked.
     "I am Father Time." he said with a smile.
     "Right and I'm Santa Clause. Look get out of my room and wait in the shop, and if you're not here to buy anything then leave."
     "Very funny but I'm telling the truth. And this isn't your shop or your room, really this is my house."
     "Okay okay I've had enough." I said getting up and pushing him out of the room.
     "But I am really Father Time." he said while trying to stop me from kicking him out.
     "Yes yes what ever you want to belie-" I stopped myself when I saw that it really wasn't our shop. I looked out the door to see a hall way covered in clocks.
     "Now do you believe me?" he said smugly
     I sighed. "I'll wake Yumi up."

     I woke Yumi up and she almost tried to kill Father Time out of reflex.

     "Ok so who's the guy in the crazy get up?" Yumi asked
     "I'm Father Time." He replied
     "Okay then." she leaned over and whispered to me. "So are we gunna kick him out or what?"
     I whispered back. "No he's telling the truth."
     "What?"
     "Just hear him out."
     "Thank you Sito." Father Time said.
     "Eh… you heard that?" I replied
     "You two aren't very good at whispering."
     "Okay then so can you tell us why we're in your house then?"
     "His house!?" Yumi said jumping to her feet.
     "C-calm down Yumi this room just looks like our room." I grabbed her shoulders and pulled her back onto the bed.
     "Thank you now as I was saying." Father Time said. "I Father Time have comprised a tournament to find out who gets my old time traveling devise."
     "Your *old* one?" I asked
     "Yes my old stopwatch one. I'm replacing it with this." he pulled out a blue cell phone with the clock on it constantly changing.
     "But… if you're Father Time…. Then to you nothing is really new nor old so why would you need a n-"
     "ANYWAY!" Father Time interrupted. "I wanted to hold this tournament to see who deserves to use it. Only once though."
     "Isn't that dangerous?"
     "How so?"
     "Well if someone evil were to win this tournament…"
     "It could end in disaster." Yumi finished.
     "Well even if they do something horrible I can fix it in a heart beat." Father Time answered.
     "So if we win this tournament we can travel back in time to change anything we want?" I asked
     "Correct."

     "Sito." Yumi whispered into my ear. "We could stop the Demon from-"
     "I know." I whispered back.

     "We accept." I answered
     "PERFECT!" Father Time replied. "the tournament starts very soon don't be late." he left the room
     "Wait a minute…" I said to Yumi. "how soon is soon to someone who can time travel?"
     "I don't know." Yumi shrugged.
     "HEY WAIT!" I said running out of the room after him.
     "Idiot."
