My Little Pony: Storm of Centuries

Chapter 1: Lost Through the Rain

Rain. It was the sound of rain that I woke up to. It landed gently on the ground along with the calm winds that pushed it making it the perfect storm. A storm, as if hand crafted by someone. I'll never forget it.

Along with the sound of the rain there was a voice. A gentle one, one that provided comfort and ease even when dealing with a situation like this. Though there was a hint of worry and stress behind it, it was a tone that couldn't be hidden no matter how hard this person tried. “Hello?” A woman asked as my eyes opened.

The woman I was greeted by was one I hadn't expected. Her hair was purple with a pink and violet stripe down the middle. Just like the stripe in her hair her irises were an eye catching violet that made you almost not want to look away. Mixed with an impeccable complexion she was something that could inspire a nation.

“Are you okay?” She asked taking her hand in mine. “Of all the days to find someone like this it's the day we schedule rain.”
“S-schedule?” I managed to mutter before I eventually lost consciousness once again.

After what felt like an eternity I awoke to find another woman sitting by my bed side. She had dark blue hair that was tied into a pony tail. Her hair was made out of what looked like the night sky, with stars and constellations. She wore a black crown with a crescent moon in the center. Her eyes were bright blue and her face was filled with beauty and kindness. She wore a very nice blue dress which clung nicely to her body. Though the most noticeable feature of her apparel was her dark blue choker with a white crescent moon on the front.

“Oh. You are awake.” She said rather bluntly. “This is pleasing.” She stood up. “I shall fetch my sister. She will also be pleased to know you are well.” She walked out of the room.

Left on my own and awake I was finally able to look around the room to learn of my surroundings. I was in a room that was very well lit despite it being the middle of the night by a chandelier, four decorative windows, two on each side of the door and a window next to the dresser with a large vanity mirror. The floors were white marble with a purple rug in the middle. As for the walls they were a bright, almost unnoticeable violet with curtains of the same color lining the meeting between the wall and the roof. The bed I laid in was a canopy bed with red draping and blue sheets with white cloud designs that made it reflect the morning sky.

Finally the blue haired woman came back with a woman wearing a white flowing dress that moved with ever step. Her face mixed with the calm cool and collected way she walked gave off a presence of both power, and kindness. Her hair, just like the other woman's, flowed gently and gave off a pleasant aura. Her hair colored teal, green, violet and pink. Her pink eyes when looking at you filled you filled you with a brightness like no other, though they seemed young and kind one good look could tell you she was filled with wisdom.

“Oh, you are awake.” The woman in white said in a very calm yet powerful voice. One that didn't make you want to listen, but made you listen. “Finding someone asleep for three days is quite worrying.” As she said this I noticed her smile shone with the brightness and gentleness of the sun.
“Three days?” I managed to mutter as my throat was still weak and I could barely move my limbs.
The woman in the blue dress nodded. “Indeed. We have been taking care of you per Twilight's insistent requests.” Upon saying this the woman in the white dress looked at her disappointed.
“Yes. Well.” The woman in white smiled back at me. “Who are you? If we may ask.” She walked over to my bed side from the front door followed closely by the other woman.
“I... I don't know...” I replied sheepishly. “All I remember is seeing some purple haired woman then waking up with her by my bedside.” I looked over at the woman in blue.
The woman in white nodded. “I see... do you know who we might be?”
    I shook my head. “No I don't... I'm sorry.”
The woman looked almost disappointed as her smile faded only quickly to return. “Well that is no problem. I am princess Celesita.” She then gestured to the woman next to her. “And this is my sister, princess Luna.”
Luna nodded. “It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”
I sat up and as I did so I realized every bit of my body hurt. From my head to my toes, everything stung and almost paralyzed me with pain. As quickly as I sat up I fell back down onto the bed again with a small groan. “How did you find me? And of all people to pick up off the streets why me? There must be a multitude of people to choose from to take care of.”
Celestia shook her head. “Not quite. Here in Equestria people may not be perfect especially in Canterlot when they can be... a bit up tight. people still take care of one another. Even if they don't physically take care of them themselves they tend to at least pay for someone to stay somewhere cheap. Even then we have places for people to stay when they have nowhere else to stay.”
I looked at her confused. “Then why wasn't I taken there?”
Celestia then smiled at me. “Because Twilight and myself wouldn't just drop someone off to go be taken care of.”
Luna nodded in agreement with her sister. “Though we may have been skeptical at first, we now welcome you here with open arms.”
I looked between the two stopping at Celestia. “You were skeptical?”
I was then met by a giggle from Celestia. “No of course I was not, when my sister says we, she often times means herself.”
“A royal we?” I asked being met with a nod from both her and her sister. I nodded slightly. “I see... so, who is this Twilight?”
    “Twilight Sparkle?” Luna asked.
I sighed. “You all have very strange names don't ya?”
Luna raised an eyebrow. “You find us strange?”
I shook my head. “No not you. Just th- the names.”
Celestia's smile faded and she looked at me smugly leaning in. “Oh? Then what is yours?”
I blinked leaning away from her as best I could while laying down. “I... I told you I don't know...”
Celestia closed her eyes and nodded standing up straight again. “That is what I thought you told me.”
Luna smiled smugly then quickly faded back to her calm demeanor. “Now if you are done insulting us I would like to tell you who Twilight Sparkle is.”
Straightening myself up I nodded. “Please do.”
Luna nodded. “Twilight Sparkle, or Princess Twilight Sparkle as of recent. Is the one who picked you up off of the streets.”
I nodded. “Yes I know that. But why did she do it?”
Luna shot me a glare. “We were getting to that. She found you on the way to visiting her friend Rarity. She chose helping you over visiting her friend. You should consider yourself lucky.”
Celestia shook her head. “Now Luna. You and I both know you would do so as well.”
Luna nodded, succumbing to defeat. “We... suppose you are right.”
I looked between the two and nodded in an awkward attempt to seem like I knew this. “So... may I meet her?” I asked.
Celestia shook her head. “She is busy with something else now. Though she will be very pleased to know you are well.” Celestia placed her hand on mine. “As am I.” She removed her hand. “We should go now. Right sister?”
    Luna nodded. “Of course.”
“Sleep well. Twilight will most likely see you in the morning.” She said turning around. “Come sister.” She then left with her sister. Though there was something I noticed on both of their backs. They almost looked like; wings. I was tempted to ask them about it but before I could I was out cold.

Upon waking up the next day I was greeted with the purple haired woman siting by my bedside again. “Oh you're awake!” She said getting to her feet. “Celestia told me you woke up last night. I was starting to wonder if you would ever wake up again.”
I slowly opened my eyes trying to piece together what she was saying. “Uhm... Y-yes I did. Are you Twili- erm Princess Twilight?”
Twilight blushed bashfully. “Uhm No. Well yes, I am, but. I don't like being called that. Just call me Twilight.” She smiled.
I shook my head. Her constant stuttering made it a bit difficult to under stand. “Oh uhm I'm sorry. Well it's an honor to meet you. Thank you... for saving my life.”
Twilight nodded. “I couldn't leave someone on the side of the road like that.”
“On the side of the road huh...? So... you don't know where I came from?” I asked gripping the blanket a bit.
Twilights smile faded. “No... I don't.” She gently placed her hand on mine much like Celestia. “But I'm willing to help.”
I looked at her confused. “Why?”
“Cause I consider you a friend.” She smiled at me. Just then I had noticed just how friendly her smile was. It was no question why I was so comforted around her.
I couldn't help but smile back at her. “I see... Thank you.”
“Can you stand?” She asked letting go of my hand.
I nodded moving to get up despite the pain. Once I stood up I could feel my legs shaking under my weight. “Barely.” I stated placing a hand on the bed to keep my balance.
“Wow you must have had quite the encounter.” She said taking the hand I had on the bed and wrapping it over her shoulder.
“Must have.” I stated with a sigh.
“So what's your name?” She asked looking at me with concern.
“I don't know... I'm so lost in my thoughts right now a name doesn't even begin to come to mind.”
Twilight nodded. “I see... Well until we figure it out I'll call you Erravi.”
    “Erravi?”
She giggled a bit, most likely at her own cleverness. “It means. I am lost. Clever right?”
I sighed. “I liked it until you said that.”
“You'll come to like it again.”
    “Maybe.”
“Now come on let's go get you something to eat.” She said leading me out of the room to who knows where.
I did it finally... let's hope I can keep this going eh?
